Welcome to the complete guide for profiles. I'll be covering
the complete "Profile" Button and the top of the screen
along with all of its functions. :3
The first thing you need to know is How to access your profile.
Simply click on the Profile Button at the top of the page,
and you will be lead to your profile. Remember, you will not be
at the same page if you click your name. That will be your
public profile. Clicking the "Profile" Button leads you to your
private profile.
You will be automatically lead too your "Information" Page,
which lets you edit your email, birthday, Humor, etc.
Everything here is just stuff about you. However,
you cannot change your username. Please PM Cody
or Alex S. To change your username. Also, remember
it costs 500 Gaming Crowns.
The second part is your "Preferences" Section. This lets you
edit your preferences.... Basically, it lets you decide
items such as "Email me when I receive a new PM"
And stuff like that.
Third, you'll see a Signature Button. A signature
is a little picture/text that goes at the bottom of your post,
for every post. See
Here For a more detailed guide
on uploading a signature.
Next is your Attachments tab. Attachments lets you manage
all of the attachments you have uploaded on KIFG Forum.
You can instantly delete, (Not Add) Any attachments
you have uploaded in the past. It is much more efficient
than going through your posts one by one looking for
attachments.
After that is the "Avatar" Tab. Your avatar is a little picture
that looms below where your name is displayed on every post
you make.
Now, your at the Friends and Foes section. Your friends are well...
your friends! You must be friends with someone to post on their
visitor messages page. Foes, are your "Enemies" Meaning you
pretty much put them on ignore. You can also see your pending
requests that you've sent, and you receive.
And now, you have "Topics Being Watched" Which means
these are topics you are stalking mainly for information.
I recommend using the Favorites section for funner threads.
Lastly, you have the "Favourites" Section. This is basically the same
function as Topics Being Watched, however, these threads
are usually to be used for a less important reason.
Such as a CAPTing thread or such.
